The Celebrity: Former President George W. Bush
What He Said: "He called me a racist," the former President told Matt Lauer during an NBC special in November 2010. "And I didn't appreciate it then. I don't appreciate it now. It's one thing to say, 'I don't appreciate the way he's handled his business.' It's another thing to say, 'This man's a racist.' I resent it, it's not true, and it was one of the most disgusting moments in my presidency."
Did Kanye Deserve It? Sort of. Dubya deserved a chance to respond to what Kanye said when he proclaimed, "George Bush doesn't care about black people," during a 2005 Hurricane Katrina relief special. But, did he deserve to have President Bush say that that was the low point of his Presidency? Er, probably not. And, even if it was true, he probably shouldn't have said it.
