Recently you guys have to finish a game with just five players. Did you know about the rule No. 3, Section 1? I did because they put it in video games. Live ’95 taught me that rule (laughs).
Nah, I didn’t know the rule. It was crazy. I started to put my jersey on because technically I was still active.
More seriously, what are you guys going to do after the all star break? Is this a situation that calls for fixing or is the locker room demeanor more about competing every night and just finishing the season at this point?
I don’t even know. We can’t bring any players up [from the D-League] unless we cut someone. We have to go with what we have. Let’s see what happens before the trade deadline is up.
Other than yourself, Kendall Marshall’s been a bright spot for the team. Did he surprise you at all returning to the NBA more matured as a player?
Yeah, he sure did. He came back dropping dimes and balling. You gotta take advantage of every opportunity and he did. It’s tough now because all the point guards are back. Him, Jordan [Farmar], [Steve] Blake, and [Steve] Nash.
