Joey Bada$$ and renowned hip-hop producer J Dilla never recorded anything together, although the young Brooklyn emcee used two of his beats for songs ("Snakes,""Where Its At") on his solo debut mixtape 1999. Streetwear brand Akomplice has presented a new capsule collection which unites the two yet again through the power of music. The apparel pays homage to the late-great Dilla by projecting the image of his face in clouds on a predominately black crewneck and a trendy sky-covered t-shirt. Within the lookbook, Bada$$ models Akomplice's Fall/Winter wear surrounded by vinyls, sheets of music and donuts -- the title of Dilla's last album. The exclusive capsule collection will be available at select Akomplice retailers and via Akomplice-clothing.com on November 29. All profits from purchases will go towards funding inner-city music programs and helping underprivileged kids.
