From Los Angles to New York, young and old, black and white, America rallied on Saturday July 20 for justice in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. "Justice for Trayvon" rallies were held in New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., Los Angeles and more.
Jay-Z and Beyonce showed up at the rally at One Police Plaza in Manhattan, where Trayvon's mother and Rev. Al Shepard spoke. Some marched on to the Brooklyn Bridge. In Chicago, they passed out shirts and posters. In Washington D.C., they wanted you to honk for justice. In Miami, Trayvon's father spoke. More than 100 cities aimed to hold "Justice for Trayvon" rallies, and thousands participated.
