Rain steered clear of Lollapalooza 2013, being held at Chicago's Grant Park Aug. 2-4.
VIBE hung out at the Samsung Galaxy tent backstage where acts like Theophilus London, Dillon Francis and Hot Chip stopped by to chat all good things Lollapalooza and toy around with the latest Samsung gear.
An hour shy of his headlining set on Perry's stage, Steve Aoki swung by to talk about his cake slinging ritual -- at each show Aoki throws a cake or two into the crowd -- and his new track with Flux Pavilion, who had been by earlier.
London shared details on the LP he's been working on out in the Palm Springs, Calif. desert, and told us he agrees with Kanye West. "Definitely. The second verse on 'New Slaves' is the greatest rap verse," he told us. While the guys from Keys N Krates didn't agree.
