The Most Show-Stopping Looks (Good And Bad) From The 2014 Met Gala

Tonight, the who’s who of the fashion and entertainment worlds came together for per Anna Wintour’s invite for the Costume Institute’s exhibition of fashion history at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The annual event is themed, and attendees do their best (sometimes) to come dressed with that rubric in mind. This year’s theme centered around 1920′s designer Charles James, who specialized in draping, glamorous floor-length satin gowns. Sounds doable, no?

To our surprise, this year’s fashion scene at the Met Gala was a hit or miss affair. While some photo friendly celebs slayed the red carpet per usual (hey, Rihanna!), others raised a few eyebrows with their risks or lack thereof.

Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so flip through so you can be the judge…
