Over two decades ago, Nike instilled a campaign incorporating multi-talented athlete Bo Jackson that would change the way brands partnered with sports figures for years to come.
Jackson's freakish talents afforded him the opportunity to become the first athlete in the modern era to play professional baseball and football in the same year. The "Bo Knows" advertisements played off of his strengths, depicting the heroic Jackson playing a multitude of sports in his cross-training shoes.
Nike will be re-releasing the Air Trainer Max ’91 sneaker with some "Bo Knows" custom additions. The design includes several Oakland Raiders influences such as the team's logo on the back of the sneakers and the wolf grey, black and white colorway. Jackson's signature "Bo Knows" slogan will appear across the Air Trainer Max's straps.
