Preview: 5 Reasons 'Skyfall' Is The Best Bond Movie Ever
Back in October, we were lucky to get an early sneak peek at the movie everyone's been talking about, Skyfall. Ian Fleming's James Bond gets ready to embark on his 23rd adventure in the 50th year of existence. That's quite a feat of strength. The role of 007 is played skillfully by Daniel Craig, and many are calling this the "Best Bond Film Ever!"
We're not spoilers. So, you're going to have to see the movie for yourself when it comes out this Friday. But we will say this, after the jump there's 5 Reasons Skyfall Is The Best Bond Movie Ever — and if you believe us, let us know on Twitter (@VIBEMagazine).

Daniel Craig Does The Character Justice —
Ever since suiting up to be the martini-drinking, womanizing, one-man wrecking crew, Daniel Craig has impressed audiences and fans alike. His work ethic in preparing for the role is equally parallel to the amount of commitment he gives on-screen. Take this for (Oscar) consideration: Craig spent his days working out 3-5 times a day, every day; he does most of his own stunts, and makes cufflinks a must-have accessory for the holidays.
Check out the preparation Craig had to do for one particular Skyfall scene below:
Skyfall Is Blending Of The Old & New —
One of the underlining story tropes in Skyfall involves Bond and his age. After 23 mission over 50 years, one can start to run a bit haggart, no? What makes Skyfall so interesting is Sam Mendes interesting usage of storytelling which mixes elements from previous Bond movies (see: "DB5") and infuses it into this generation's current iteration.

Two Bond Girls For The Price Of One —
007 has always attracted the hottest women to ever hit the silver screen, and in Skyfall, Naomie Harris and Berenice Marlohe are both welcomed additions. These two powerhouse beauties have impacting ties to the overall story, and one in particular may just be a reoccurring role in future Bond pictures. You'll have to wait till this Friday comes to find out which one it is!
In the meantime, watch Ms. Marlohe chat about auditioning for "Skyfall" in the video below:
Javier Bardem Adds A Unique Flair Of Evil In Skyfall —
Forget what you think you know about Javier Bardem as the villain in No Country For Old Men. He ups the ante in Sam Mendes' Skyfall. Without giving too much away, the screen grab which you can see above comes after making Bond feel, ahem, questionable, about being in Bardem's clutches.
Do you think Javier Bardem's "Raoul Silva" will rank high amongst Bond baddies? Check out this video below and let us know in the comments section:
The Introduction Of Q Means A Lot For Skyfall —
Ben Whishaw’s turn as hi-tech boffin Q (see: Quartermaster) in the new James Bond film "Skyfall" is brave new territory indeed. This youthful Q represents the brave new world the Bond properties are looking to adapt in its storyline. In "Skyfall," this generation's Q possesses the ability to reduce the world into rubble with one click of a computer mouse while still in his pajamas—and that is a great reason why you should see this movie when it drops on Nov. 9th!
