Preview Logan Zane's American-Made Leather Goods
Leather never looked so good—that is, if you're not already familiar with American-mad e leather accessories brand Logan Zane.
Featuring "The Remsen" Camouflage Leather Backpack, "The Regent" Leather Watchroll, and "The Oak St." Bespoke Briefcase, Logan Zane has been bringing us high quality goods since 2010, created by designer and brand founder Greg Cummins in New York City.
"I was looking for something in the middle," Greg tells VIBE about his reason for establishing Logan Zane. He continues by adding, "I'm not 18, so I don't want a JanSport bag [Laughs]. [In the same sense], I'm not 65, so I'm not quite ready for the $5,000 Bottega Veneta briefcase. I saw something in the middle [with Logan Zane] that I couldn't find in Neiman's, Saks, or Bloomingdale s."
The bags, which are a favorite among big names like rapper Big Sean—who was Greg's first customer—started off as mere customizing for friends and turned into a full-fledged line with the help of Greg's mentor Ouigi Theodore from The Brooklyn Circus.
You can check out some of Logan Zane's other pieces—which we highly recommend—over at LoganZane.co m
Grey Says:
"The Remsen is an Italian camouflage leather, paired with really good antique brass hardware. I made one for my assistant Iesha, & people just noticed us in the streets. My first customer was Big Sean, the rapper from Detroit. He saw the bag on Iesha and ordered a couple on the spot."
Other specs include:
—Double snap and buckle closure
—Front exterior pocket
—Durable webbed nylon straps

The Regent — $195
Grey Says:
"I'm just a huge watch fan. Most of the international collection is inspired by travel. I know it's not every guy that gets on the plane with three watches, but it's good for safe-keeping in your house. Guys are collectors at heart, so I've always got my eye on making accessories for collections. We're poly-acquisitional."

—Nylon Zip
—Ultrasuede lining
—Italian embossed leather
The Oak St. — $795
Grey Says:
"I like bright color. I can't say Hermès wasn't an influence—I like what they do. I found the pebble-grain Italian leather, and just fell in love with the raw skins. This was another case where I made one for myself [originally], and then men & women liked it."
Other specs include:
—Padded leather handles
—Two outside pockets
—Interior laptop compartment
—Ultrasuede lining
