Kelly Price is a problem.Busy bee Kelly Price thought of the idea for “Not Yo’ Mama’s Monologue,” but didn’t do much in seeing the idea to fruition. So Chanté Moore took the reigns. Chanté told Kelly Price that she reached out to a producer by the name of Fred Thomas to help develop the project. Kelly was missing in action for much of the rehearsals afterwards, but once she finally got there, was quite rude and disrespectful to Fred.
Suddenly, she already had a director in mind – that guy who did Broadway In The Hood’s production of Dreamgirls featured on last week’s edition of the show. However, if you were that invested in the project, wouldn’t you take some initiative? Or better yet, if you don’t show any initiative, who are you to catch an attitude? To be fair, Kelly took to Twitter to defend herself:
Nice.... week 2, week 5 and week 8 all show up in the same episode. #timelines— Kelly Price (@KellyPrice4Real) August 1, 2013
Episode 4. Sad to see where this is going. Holding my peace. I was questioned last wk. The truth came out. It will come out again. #FOOTAGE— Kelly Price (@KellyPrice4Real) August 1, 2013
2nite's episode WOW! Its alot. Jeanine@JCEC.com is my PR rep. Im more than happy to tell the whole and true story in an unbiased format.— Kelly Price (@KellyPrice4Real) August 1, 2013
Okay, the story might be poorly edited, but you can’t copy and paste and piss poor attitude on a person. Last night Kelly Price turned into the Wicked Witch of R&B West. If she keeps behaving this way, there are going to be requests that someone picks up the house Syleena Johnson dropped on Nicci Gilbert and rinse and repeat.
It doesn’t help that next week’s preview features Kelly huffing and puffing all in Fred’s face. Come on, Kelly. Please don’t make me want to bootleg your music. We’ve come so far to go back.
