Samuel L. Jackon's 5 Classic Movie Deaths
Role: Gator
Gator is one of the most classic crackhead characters in movie history. His father was over his drug addiction but his mom often encouraged his crackhead tendencies by pretending they didn't exist. Instead, she cheered him on whenever he "created" a "new dance." The breaking point came when he terrorized his own mother in a fiend out rage, because she wouldn't give him money for his white horse ride. His father walked in on the madness and demanded that Gator leave their property. However, Gator decided to shoulder shimmy, which resulted in his last dance.
Role: Russell Franklin
Russell Franklin decided to give a speech about courage to his terrified group of terrified marine scientists. His goal was to figure out a strategy that didn't involve running, but figuring out how to defeat the sharks. It was a noble cause but halfway into the speech he became the shark version of Snausages...and fodder for one of the most unintentionally hilarious movie deaths ever.
Role: Mace Windu
Mace Windu caught a raw deal in Revenge of the Sith, but he went out like a G. He's easily the most gangsta Jedi Knight ever!
Role: Octopus
It's always fun to watch asshole super villains die in movies. In this case, the Octopus dies a magnificent death. We couldn't find a lone clip of this one but we did grab this tribute to various death scenes starring Samuel L. Jackson and it's pretty cool. Check it out (The Spirit death at 0:23):
Role: Stacks
Samuel L. Jackson isn't the highest paid actor in Hollywood for nothing. He puts in work, even if it means being the token character in a movie. He didn't have much of a role or a life span in Goodfellas but not many actors can say they did a Martin Scorsese movie.
