Snoop Dogg vs Death Row
Money seems to be the source of most artist/label fallouts, and Snoop Dogg was no exception. The West Coast rapper was unsatisfied with payments, claiming that while Death Row gave him lavish gifts, they withheld royalty payments from him. He was also unsatisfied with his record deal, where Death Row owned much of his material for years after its release. There were also rumors of an ugly fallout with Death Row co-founder Suge Knight. “Fuck Death Row” was the last record Snoop made for Suge Knight before leaving the label for Master P’s No Limit Records.
