The Anthem: "New York Mets Anthem," by Ron Artest
The Team: The MLB's New York Mets
Did It Help? No, but it also wasn't really meant to. Ron-Ron's anthem about the Metropolitans—released last summer—poked fun at the team and also featured Artest sharing a bunch of his favorite memories about the Mets. Like, the ice cream sundaes that come in the miniature baseball helmets at the stadium. And kicking it with Mr. Met. And, uh, popping bottles of Moet on Citi Field's Pepsi Porch (WTF?). As far as team anthems go, this is one of the least inspiring you'll ever hear. But it's Ron Artest being Ron Artest, so that's not necessarily a bad thing.
