Tatt My Name On You: The Wildest Celebrity Love Tattoos

Tatt My Name On You: The Wildest Celebrity Love Tattoos

Sowmya Krishnamurthy Posted September 13, 2012
“Tatt my fucking name on you so I know it’s real” is more than a line from Drake.
Celebrities love to put their love on display with tattoos (or in the case of Chris
Brown, tattoos that sort of look like their exes…We see you, Breezy!) Whether
the relationships themselves last or not, the tatts make for timeless memories
(and some good laughs). - Sowmya Krishnamurthy (@SowmyaK)
Chad Johnson
What do you do when your wife calls the cops on you and then divorces you for
being a domestic abuser? Why, get her face tattooed on your calf, of course!
Chad Johnson confused everyone by inking his Love & Basketball boo, Evelyn
Lozada’s, face on his leg after their relationship fell apart this summer. That’s
one way to say “I’m sorry.”
Angelina Jolie
Angelina was high off love when she made the tattoo indecision to get a tacky
dragon and the name of her former flame Billy Bob Thornton on her bicep. After
their creepy May-December relationship imploded, Angie quickly removed this
eyesore and replaced it with a shout out to her kiddies. Smart move, Ang.
Khloe Kardashian
If you’re going to get someone’s name tatted, make sure they reciprocate. That’s
what Khloe Kardashian did when she and husband Lamar Odom got each
other’s initials on their hands. Khloe said at the time, “Tattoos are something
you’ll have for the rest of your life so it’s important to get one that truly means
something to you.”
Mac Miller
Love tattoos aren’t just reserved for romantic feelings. Mac Miller gave some
arm real estate to one of his favorite artists, the late rapper Big L, with his “Street
Struck” tattoo. Other acceptable rapper tattoos: Notorious B.I.G. and 2Pac.
Unacceptable rapper tattoos: Silkk The Shocker, Skee-Lo, Chief Keef.
Beyoncé
Leave it to Mrs. Carter to find a tasteful and smart love tattoo. Beyoncé put
a “IV” on her finger in homage to hubby Jay-Z and her favorite number. If the
relationship doesn’t pan out (yes, we will kill ourselves), the tatt can always stand
for Bey’s birthday (Sept 4) or her recent album title. That’s a good tattoo “Plan B”
right there.
Drake
Drake’s always had a close kinship to late singer Aaliyah, despite never actually
meeting her. Aubrey put his fan boy love for Baby Girl in ink for the world (as well
as every woman who gets him shirtless) to see. We’re sure this makes for some
uh, interesting bedtime convo.
Steve-O
Speaking of back tatts, this is a piece of art that will never go out of style.
Jackass’ Steve-O got a huge image of his eternal love—himself--on his back.
Relationships come and go but celebrity ego lasts forever.
