We live in genre-bending times where artists and fans are no longer chained to any one particular music style, but can pick and take from multiple song samplings and create their own unique sound and voice. There's no better example of this than the recent trend of DJ-rapper hookups that's been springing up, with success stories such as Usher/Guetta, Calvin Harris/Rihanna and Kanye/Daft Punk.
