5. Lee Burridge
Trying to describe Lee Burridge and the method to his madness in 140 characters or less makes you wish you could buy a vowel or call a lifeline. While us DJs know it’s sacrilegious to define his genre, it would be eons worse to leave him off this list. There are talents and then there are characters, and Lee happens to be both. Never chasing, always originating, never remixing others' style, but always being remixed, his "All Day I Dream" parties should be called movements. His sets tell a story that are entertaining, and nothing short of genius. Passionate followers from all over the world flock to every gig he plays. Whether on the bill of some of the biggest events or playing 10 hour sets in an NYC loft unannounced, there isn't a soul out there that has more passion to play music then this DJs' DJ.
