VIBE's Weekly Kick Picks: Chicago Edition

We're back with the latest of the illest, in this week's edition of VIBE Kick Picks.

We took a break from New York City this time around—we still love you though!—to hit up the beautiful city of Chicago. The sneaker culture out here is insane, and we got a nice little sample of just how dope it is. We caught up with some of Chi-Town's main players—The L.E.P. Bogus Boys, up-and-coming rapper on the Chicago rap scene Spenzo, Fashion Geek C.E.O. Alonzo a.k.a. "Zo," and Phli Studio chief Dave Jeff—at Lacuna Artist Loft Studios to show us what they're working with. Judging by the looks of things, they definitely didn't disappoint.

The Story:

"They look dope, straight up. That's simple as that."

Air Jordan 11 (Space Jam)

The Story:

"I always was a fan of the Space Jams from back in the day, when the black & white ones came out. I always said to myself, 'Man, they should have an all black one.' When they dropped that, I was in line to get mines [Laughs]! This my third pair. I got a couple of them put up."

"These are from 2006. I seen them in my closet, and since everybody's rocking the new ones, I decided to throw the old ones on—just to be fresh. I love Jordans."
