Who the Hell is Xavier Henry?
I’ll be honest, I’ve thought Xavier Henry was overrated since he was high school. In the class of 2009, he was considered better than players like Lance Stephenson, Eric Bledsoe and current teammate Ryan Kelly. The last one might not be such a stretch, but never did I think he’d be the story of NBA opening night and here we are. Henry scored 22 points, grabbed six rebounds and shot 8-for-13 from the floor. I’m sure every Laker fan’s hoping his year is Jeremy Lin-like.
What should his catchphrase be? X-sanity? Xav-believable? Hen-Ry-Diculous? Aight, we’ll work on that, but the kid can play.
