What I Wear: DyMe-A-DuZiN

For our latest segment of What I Wear, we tag along with one of Warner Bros Records' newest signees, 20-year-old MC DyMe-A-DuZiN.

With addition to bringing some fresh lyrical talent to the new generation of hip-hop, the kid's got a tight grab on fashion and a keen sense of where to shop to get some dope stuff. Fresh off the release of his latest music project, A Portrait Of Donnovan—available to stream/download at the end of this gallery—we caught up with Dyme to put us on to his favorite style spots.

ZARA:

"[Zara is] a real classy place. From my blazers and hats, to my button-up shirts, it's always a good place for good materials. every season, the style is always different. i really dig it—especially this jacket right here (seen above). It gives me a Michael Jackson or lieutenant feel."—DyMe-A-DuZiN

URBAN OUTFITTERS:

"When I go to Urban [Outfitters], I'm looking for more of a button-up look. When I modeled for their Fall catalogue with my band, Phony Ppl, I wore a button-up floral shirt. I'm also looking for accessories when I come here. I usually get something laid-back, that's not too high fashion. The button-ups with the patterns are always a good look."—DyMe-A-DuZiN

ALL SAINTS:

"I got introduced to this place by my best friend. He used to work here. I immediately fell in love with their vintage look. Everything is real rugged and dirty in a sense. Their boots are definitely an essential. I'm actually wearing similar strap boots right now. They give me a wrestler feel—like a WWE superstar coming out with entrance music, walking in slow motion [Laughs]. It just embodies a superstar presence. I like clothes that make you feel like shit is about to go down when I hit the stage or hit the club."—DyMe-A-DuZiN

SUPRA:

"I have a long history with Supra. i started wearing them when I was back in junior high—like 8th grade going into 9th grade. As I got older, and got into the music industry, I started meeting representatives and getting involved with the company. I got to see, and receive, dope styles. Now, I just go in the store and anticipate the next one. This is my childhood sneaker. it's real special to me, so I'll always rock Supras. The Skytop's are my favorite."—DyMe-A-DuZiN

INA MEN (VINTAGE):

"I'm really into vintage stores. everytime I come across one, I'm looking for that old school feel. A piece, like this hat, that has a renaissance-type feel is dope. It pairs well with a pair of pants & a blazer. Vintage stores give you a style that people aren't really creative in the current fashion world."—DyMe-A-DuZiN
