The good news: The New York Giants won the Super Bowl on Sunday! The bad news: That means that football is officially over until September—and we're gonna have a whooooooole lot of free time on Sundays from now on. Fortunately, we won't have to worry about that too much for the time being, though, because this Sunday, we'll still be plenty entertained by the 54th Grammy Awards, which are being held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Sure, it's not quite as exciting as watching two guys wrestle over a football. But, hey: Beggars can't be choosers. So we're plenty excited to see what happens at the Grammys on Sunday.
Thing is, we're not necessarily excited to see who wins the awards. We're sure somebody will make history that night ("Can you believe he/she won 12 Grammys?") but the truth is that we probably won't remember who won anything by next week. We will however remember those crazy moments before, during, and after the ceremony. Like, who wore a dress that made them look like Big Bird, who tried to French kiss the person presenting an award with them, and who slapped someone in the face backstage. Those moments are the ones that we'll remember forever—and the ones that will get the Twittersphere popping during the show.
So with that in mind, we sat down and put together our list of Grammy Award predictions. But unlike past years, we didn't simply predict who would win Best Artist or who would walk away with the Album of the Year trophy. Instead, we assembled some real predictions for the show. So we invite you to check out our 10 off-the-wall Grammy Award predictions...that have absolutely nothing to do with the actual awards themselves.
