Waka Flocka Flame Tweets About Attack In Clothing Store
Waka Flocka Flame just cannot stay out of trouble these days. After being shot in the arm in January for refusing to surrender his jewelry, the Atlanta based rapper was attacked yesterday (March 4) in a clothing store in downtown Atlanta, according to AllHipHop.com.
During the confrontation, Waka Flocka reportedly shot his gun, potentially as a warning to stop the fighting.
Sources say USDA (United Dope Boyz of America) member Slick Pulla, who is signed to Young Jeezy’s Corporate Thugz label, was the attacker.
“Story has it that Waka Flocka and Slick Pulla have been beefing since an altercation that happened in Miami a few months ago,” celebrity photographer Freddy O. told AllHipHop.com. “Slick Pulla wanted to get it popping and that’s what he tried to do. After a tussle and fight throughout the entire Walter’s store, with customers, gunfire rang out. In the end Slick Pulla left the store while Waka was left with a bloody nose and eye.”
This brawl may threaten the public truce between Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane, since Waka Flocka is part of Gucci’s So Icey group.
According to sources, Waka Flocka took a beating, but the rapper both confirmed the fight and denied that he was beaten badly via his Twitter account.
“Shout out to shawty who ran up wit the lumps on his face that look like Martin Lawrence …… lol,” he said, referencing the episode of Martin where the comedian took a pounding from boxer Tommy Hearns.
At this time, neither side has released any official statements. –Jonathan Eiseman
