Big Sean may be finally famous over everything but it didn’t keep the G.O.O.D. Music rapper from taking over Lincoln High School as principal for a day.
The Detroit school won a contest sponsored by General Motors for increasing their attendance rate by 9%, which allowed the D-town native to host an intimate concert for the students. Royce Da 5’9,” also Detroit-bred, stopped by to perform “Lighters.”
According to ABC News affiliate WXYZ, Sean went from classroom to classroom emphasizing the importance of education, also sharing that he graduated Cass Technical High School with a 3.7 GPA, affording him a scholarship to Michigan State University.
“One of my New Year’s resolutions was to be more involved, especially in education,” Sean told ABC. “So this was a perfect way to get involved with the school and it’s tight to see the kids so excited.”
