Thank you everyone who attended these events. For the ninth year in a row, VIBE produced the annual YardFest experience for three of the largest HBCU Homecoming festivities, Clark Atlanta, Howard and Florida A&M Universities. Yardfest is a full-day of performances from hip hop's newest and freshest artists. Yardfest has been the stage on which many artists have graduated to superstardom magna cum loudly. Who could forget Jay-Z's legendary 2000 performance with the entire Roc-A-Fella family, while a young Ludacris made his first appearance at Howard's Homecoming.

By 2004, T.I. chose the Florida A&M University YardFest as the ideal venue to launch his platinum selling Urban Legend album on the same stage that T-Pain made his third and final appearance before he "ternt sanga". 2005 was no different as hip-hop freshman of the year, Young Jeezy hit the YardFest stage to deliver some Thug Motivation! Enjoy VIBE's tribute to all participants and we at VIBE thank everyone who attended this event. We look forward to these future artists making it big.
