The Goods: CES 2010... From A Distance (pg. 4)
Skiff Reader ($TBD; available soon at skiff.com)
While we’re still riding for the Amazon Kindle (for now, at least), the Skiff Reader e-reading device is impressive. It’s got a huge 11.5-inch touchscreen, 1600x1200 resolution that allows you to fit an entire page from a broadsheet newspaper like the New York Times and the Skiff Store that should allow you to subscribe to your favorite publications and download apps for your reader. That said, CES 2010 was jam-packed with other e-readers, too, like the Plastic Logic Que and the world’s first “dualbook,” the EnTourage eDGe. Don’t these companies know we’ve got a lot of 3D TV watching to do this year?
