Mix Master Mike X Skullcandy = Another Expensive Pair Of Headphones

Just when you were finally about to give in and cops the Beats By Dre headphones. Or the Diddy Beats earbuds. Or the Heartbeats by Lady Gaga. (Seriously, have headphones become the 2010 version of liquors? Does everyone really need their own pair?!) Headphones company Skullcandy is teaming up with Mix Master Mike of the Beastie Boys for a set of headphones called (what else?) the MMM headphones. Basically, they’re being packaged as a high-quality pair of headphones designed for the DJ looking to fork over some extra cash for a collapsible pair of ‘phones that are also lightweight and perfect for getting the party started. Of course, they ain’t particularly cheap as they’ll retail for about $250. But they won’t hit stores until later this spring, which should give all you DJs out there plenty of time to get your gigs up and save up some extra dough.—Chris Yuscavage
