Asher Roth’s Manager Gets Cuffed

Asher Roth’s manager, Scott “Scooter” Braun, should be spending the rest of this week celebrating the release of his client’s third mixtape, Seared Foie Gras With Quince & Cranberry, but instead he’ll be worrying about possibly spending up to a year behind bars.

The Associated Press reported that Braun, who also represents sixteen-year-old star Justin Bieber, turned himself in to Long Island police today in connection to fan pandemonium that arose in a mall during an unplanned Bieber appearance last November.

Police stated that throughout Bieber’s mall visit, the young crowd grew rowdy and Braun was asked to post a Twitter message scraping the event. Though Braun’s lawyer says it took him seven minutes to send two tweets, the case prosecutor claims it took one and a half hours.

28-year-old Braun is currently awaiting arraignment on charges for reckless endangerment and criminal nuisance, both of which his lawyer discloses he will plead not guilty. —Tracy Garraud
