Lil Wayne Didn’t Pay ‘Lollipop’ Royalties?


(AllHipHop News) Incarcerated star Lil Wayne has been hit with a $500,000 lawsuit over unpaid royalties from his hit 2008 single “Lollipop.” 

According to the New York Post, producer Jim Jonsin filed the suit on Tuesday (April 20), claiming that he’s yet to receive any royalties despite holding a co-writing credit for the track.

“Lollipop” was the lead single from the smash LP Tha Carter III, which was the best-selling album of 2008 with 2.88 million copies sold.The single reached #1 on Billboard, and has been certified 3X platinum.
