Drumma Boy Speaks On Lil Jon’s ‘Crunk Rock’ (Pg. 5)

④ Lil Jon’s solo debut album, Crunk Rock
“I did a placement for Lil Scrappy’s [2006 album, Bred 2 Die Born 2 Live] back when Jon was working with Scrappy. So we done met and all that before. But he actually just reached back out to me recently and was like, ‘Yo man, you been killing it. You’ve been keeping crunk alive. I want to work with you!’ So we did a record called “Ms. Chocolate,” featuring R. Kelly and Mario. We actually did like 12 records altogether for the album, but Jon only kept three or four. One of the other ones is “Throw It Up, Part 2,” featuring Pastor Troy and Wacka Flocka, and then I did another one with Jon featuring Damien Marley. A lot of his crew members have been like, ‘Yo, you woke Jon up!'”
