Drumma Boy Speaks On T.I.’s ‘King Uncaged’ (Pg. 4)

③  T.I.’s seventh solo album, King Uncaged
“With Tip, he calls me to come through the studio. The first time I ever really worked with him was in his house right after he got out of jail [and was on house arrest in 2008]. I was one of the first visitors that came through his house. I played 30 beats for him and he kept 25. That’s why I was four tracks deep on Paper Trail. He’s just now getting back into his mode [after being released from prison in March] and he’s really going hard on the album. I’ve done two or three tracks for him so far. I’ve only heard one but DJ MLK, one of Tip’s DJs, talked to me the other night and told me how crazy this other record [he did over my beat] was. So stay tuned.”
