Hip-Hop’s 10 Strangest Collaborations (Pg. 8)
The Collaboration: Jay-Z and Linkin Park
The Result: The 2004 Collision Course album
The FAIL Scale: 1.5 FAILs out of 10. It’s not like we’re still bumping the Collision Course album. But at the time, this rock/rap collabo was a pretty big deal. It gave some new life to overexposed songs from Jay and LP, expanded Hov’s audience, gave LP some street cred and moved a bunch of units. Not bad.
