Don’t Diet, For a Change

“I’m not a big diet person. I don’t like to diet because I like to eat a lot of different stuff. So when I have those days where I feel like I’m cheating and I have those days where I’m like, ‘I gotta get it all right,’ I just try to eat OK another day. I don’t eat a bunch of bad stuff. I don’t eat bread, I don’t eat rice, I don’t eat a lot of carbs. I know I’m not gonna stick to a diet [but] sometimes you will have to cut down on things you love the most. I have a fetish for Krispy Kreme donuts, but you have to discipline yourself. It’s mind over matter. So I eat a lot of protein whether it’s chicken and fish, and I eat vegetables, a lot of salad and I like a lot of seafood too and stick to that. That’s what saves me from having to do a diet. I don’t believe in a lot of diet remedies, although I did the liquid cleanse before. It works if you want to cleanse your body, like if you’ve been pigging out and your body feels horrible. I think the whole cleanse thing is good for that but it’s not something that you want to consider as a diet. And I had the help of a nutritionist and my personal trainer.”

Find Routines That Work For You

“I recently got put on to the Gunnar Peterson workout in L.A. Lala uses him and Kim Kardashian too. That’s gonna be the new thing. They told me it’s like pure boot camp, so I’m gonna just try it out. I’m always good to try something at least once. If I don’t like it then I’m not doing it, but I love to try to stay in shape. I’ve tried spinning for an hour and a half, which was torture. I’ve tried kickboxing, which was horrible—horrible meaning that it hurts so bad. It’s horrible but it’s such a great work out because you’re so active. But I think when you’re active you come out better than when you’re not doing something so active. I do hip-hop dance classes sometimes too. It’s just a great workout because you’re not really thinking about working out. It’s almost like you’re in the club with the music playing and you’re just dancing, but it’s a workout. That’s cool for me because it doesn’t feel like a workout. I love pilates too because it’s good for the mind and the body. It’s relaxing.”
