Please Hammer, Don’t Hurt Jay-Z!

How do you feel about MC Hammer lyrically going toe-to-toe with Jay? We think it’s a pretty unfair match-up.

Jay-Z’s verse on Kanye West’s ‘So Appalled’ has struck a nerve with MC Hammer, who says he’s preparing a response to Hov.

As part of Kanye West’s “G.O.O.D. Friday” initiative, in which he leaks one G.O.O.D. Music song a week, he released ‘So Appalled,’ featuring Pusha T, Swizz Beatz, RZA, Cyhi Da Prynce and Jay-Z. Although the song has received a generally good response from fans and critics, Hammer is appalled at Jay-Z’s verse.

Yes, that MC Hammer.

The ‘2 Legit 2 Quit’-rapper-turned-MMA-manager-and-social-media-expert took issue with Hov’s rhyme, “Hammer went broke so you know I’m more focused/ I lost 30 mil’ so I spent another 30/ ‘Cause unlike Hammer 30 million can’t hurt me.”

Now Hammer is pissed off. And you won’t like a mad ‘Pumps and a Bump’ Hammer. ‘The Funky Headhunter’ is ready to mince words with the man who just sat down with Warren Buffett for an interview with Steve Forbes.

Hammer took to Twitter to air out his grievances with Jay.

“The Answer to Jay comes on Oct. 31 (Devils Nite),” Hammer tweeted on Friday. Hammer’s rant continued well into the evening as he went right at Hov some more. “@kanyewest jay-hoe aka #HellBoy Tell Jay Oct 31 (Devils Nite),” he said. “We’ll see if this record and video ‘Hurt’s Him.’ ”

Now I don’t know about you, but I don’t think Hammer wants to battle Jay-Z in any shape, form or fashion…unless it is in a mixed martial arts bout. The man who runs the newly formed Alchemist Management posted a video of what he would do to Jay-Z.
