Jamie Foxx knows no boundaries.

The Academy Award-winning thespian and Grammy Award-winning vocalist is now taking his years on Hollywood one step farther—or better yet behind—with a new drama.

According to deadline.com, Foxx has sold a drama tentatively titled Tommy’s Little Girl—described as Le Femme Nikita meets The Sopranos—to NBC. The story is based on a young girl who’s mafia family is murdered by a competing mob. She grows up in an orphanage and eventually becomes an attorney by day, and trained assassin by night, determined to avenge her family’s death.

The trailer—reportedly staring Selma Blair, Paul Sorvino, Tony Sirico and James Russo—was co-written and directed by Foxx and Deon Taylor, who recently teamed up to launch No Brainer Films.

On the music side, Jamie Foxx’s fourth solo album, Body, is slated for a late 2010 release. —John Kennedy
