Angelina Jolie Possibly Adopting Four-Year-Old Haitian Girl
If the alleged reports are true then one Haitian little girl is about to be very happy. Jolie is reportedly set to adopt a fourth child. Word on the street is that she wants to open her home to a four-year-old girl named Leah who lost her entire family in the earthquake that devastated Haiti last year.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Angelina's lawyers are in the process of getting an authorisation so Leah can spend some time with her in America. That's standard procedure, basically they need to make sure Leah will adapt well."
There are worries adoption authorities in the small Caribbean nation may not be able to cope with the massive interest in Angelina's plans, but the 35-year-old screen star determined to get through the "final steps" to adopt Leah. The source added that despite concerns, Jolie is almost reaching the final steps of the gruelling adoption process. If Leah fits well within the family in the States, then Jolie will be able to adopt her.
If the adoption goes through, Leah will be Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's 7th child. [Contact Music]
