NBA TV Fan Night: Brandon Roy is Doing His Thing on the Basketball Court Again

Movies & TV

It’s been a loooooong time since we’ve seen Portland Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy play as well as he did last night in a win against the Dallas Mavericks. And fortunately for us, we actually got to see the game—as the Blazers/Mavericks matchup was the NBA TV Fan Night game of the week, as chosen by all of the hoops fans out there that visited the NBA TV Fan Night web site and voted over the course of the last week.

After the game, B-Roy checked in with the NBA TV Fan Night crew to talk about his performance and revealed that, for the first time since returning to the Blazers following knee surgery, he finally feels like he’s back on the same page with the team and able to play at a high level. “It felt good,” he said in a video that’s currently available on the NBA TV Fan Night site. “It felt like old times. I’ve been telling coach that I’m starting to feel better and better out there with the team. I’m starting to feel like I’m in more of a rhythm. I just tried to be aggressive tonight.”

He succeeded, too, scoring 21 points and leading the team to a W over a tough Dallas team to keep the Blazers alive in the playoff hunt. NBA TV Fan Night takes a week off next week but will return with another slate of great game choices for March 29. To vote on who you want to see play on March 29, simply visit the NBA TV Fan Night site and click on the game that you want to see in the box located on the right-hand side of the page. Who knows? And all you need to do is go and vote for the game you want to see. Go give it a shot!
