Jay-Z and Kanye’s ‘Watch the Throne’ Set to Drop on July 4th

Never known to do things on a small scale, hip-hop elite Jay-Z and Kanye will reportedly release their collaborative album ‘Watch the Throne’ on July 4th. [Pause for applause].

It’s been six months since Kanye announced via Twitter that “H.A.M.” — with it’s biblical/theatrical trills — would serve as the first single off the highly anticipated project, but the superstars have stayed mum regarding a release date. Since then, Jay and Kanye were spotted recording in Paris, and another “Watch the Throne” track “Lift Off,” featuring Beyonce and Bruno Mars, hit the ‘net.

Recent news of the Fourth of July date comes just hours shy of an upcoming G.O.O.D. Music event, featuring Yeezy at an undisclosed location. Rumor has it, ‘Ye will make the official announcement tonight.
