Sneak Peak: Diggy Simmons’ “Copy, Paste” Music Video

Taking time out of his extremely busy schedule that includes prepping for this summer’s Closer to My Dreams Tour, up and coming rapper, Diggy Simmons caught up with Rap in L.A. to discuss the concept behind his forthcoming, Phil the God-directed clip for his first single, “Copy, Paste”.

“‘Copy, Paste’ is about just giving an anthem to original people, innovators, people that feel like their style’s been copy, pasted,” the 16 year old, son of hip hop pioneer, Reverend Run, told the popular hip-hop blog, “I’m in a laboratory and I’m hooked up to wires and different stuff. I have like a bandage over my stomach. There’s laboratory girls in the scene, but it’s just about them trying to copy and paste me.”

Hmmm, judging by the pictures, this looks like a modern version of Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde. Click Here to judge for yourself.  - Tyler McDermott
