Mathew Knowles Speaks Out On Accusations He Stole Money From Beyonce: 'All Dollars Will Be Accounted For'

Beyonce's former manager and father Mathew Knowles recently came under fire with accusations that he allegedly stole money from his daughter. Things became even more public, when Bey announced she was no longer being managed by him.

Shooting down these claims, Mathew broke his silence to the Associated Press.

"We absolutely have not taken any money from Beyonce, and all dollars will be accounted for," he told The AP in an interview Thursday afternoon. "In no way have we stole money. Again, this about the people who have made these claims — they have to come into the light."

"The relationship with Beyonce is extremely amicable. I want to make that clear. Where there's concern is the people that she's doing business with," he said. "I'm challenging all of these folks on integrity, professional integrity."

Though both Bey and her father claim to be on good terms, Mathew admitted they have not spoken since she relieved him of manager duties. He also accuses certain members of her camp, Roc Nation and Live Nation for the slander and prepared to take the matter to court.

"The only way we will be able to understand this is through a court of law. That's the only way either one of us will be clear if someone in our camps did something that was not correct."

Reps for Beyonce and Roc Nation did not respond to requests for comment. Columbia Records and Live Nation had no comment.

Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Fashion Show Makes Its Amazon Prime Debut

Rihanna is raising the bar again! The singer-turned-fashion and makeup mogul pulled out all the stops for the Savage X Fenty New York Fashion Week presentation, which debuted on Amazon Prime Video Friday (Sept. 20).

Rih Rih’s fashion presentation was a unique experience and Amazon Prime viewers got a digital front-row seat to the action. The show went down on September 10 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center and fused music and fashion as Rihanna, and a bevy of background dancers, set the tone with choreographed movements courtesy of her “sprit animal,” choreographer, Parris Goebel. The fashion event also included performances from Normani, Big Sean, Janelle Monae, Fat Joe and more.

Savage x Fenty may be considered a freshman lingerie brand but it has already become a strong competitor for the likes of Victoria’s Secret. Rihanna's company recently secured $50 million in funding from investors bringing its total investments to approximately $70 million.

The 31-year-old Grammy winner has since jetted off to South Korea to promote Fenty Beauty after a busy week in New York, where she hosted her annual Diamond Ball last Thursday (Sept. 12). The charity ball raised a reported $5 million for Rihanna's Clara Lionel Foundation.

Trae Tha Truth Resumes Rescue Efforts As Houston Battles Extreme Flooding

Trae Tha Truth and the Relief Gang are back in action.  The Houston native has been busy rescuing stranded residents in Southeast Texas as the area endures extreme flooding from Tropical Storm Imelda.

The “Can’t Get Close” rapper took to social media Thursday (Sept. 19) in an effort to reach out to anyone who may be stranded.

Numerous streets and roadways in the city were flooded out, leaving drivers stranded all across the city, and in areas like Kingston and Beaumont. In addition to flooding, the storm triggered massive power outages. According to Trae the Truth, the water reached his chest during one rescue attempt.

The storm’s aftermath could rival that of Hurricane Harvey, which ravaged Houston in 2017. At least two people have died from the storm. One of the victims was electrocuted before drowning as he tried to rescue his horse, the Houston Chronicle reports.

Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner acknowledged that the city was unprepared for the storm. "This happened very quickly," Turner said. "But it's just demonstrating that in this day and time, climate change is real. And we no longer have to be concerned just with a hurricane. We have to be concerned with almost any sort of weather system that can quickly evolve into a major storm and produce a great deal of rain."

The Beaumont Police Department has so far received hundreds of high water rescue and evacuation requests. As of Thursday night, the BPD announced that evacuation efforts will be suspended from 7:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. local time. “Rescue crews will continue to respond to life-threatening situations only,” the department tweeted. “If you are still in an area with standing water, seek higher ground and shelter in place. Be patient & only call 911 for emergencies.”

The 911 operations center has experienced a heavy call load with over 250 high water rescues and 270 evacuation requests. If there is an immediate threat to life safety, call 911. For non-emergency calls please call 409-832-1234.

The storm also caused the FAA to ground all planes flying into Houston’s George Bush International Airport Thursday morning. “No arriving flights into Houston today, only few departing flights,” read a tweet from the airport. Flight operations are expected to fully resume Friday.

Madame Tussauds’ New Beyonce Wax Figure Has Fans Doing A Double Take

It took several attempts, but Madame Tussauds London finally got it right. The wax museum unveiled a new Beyonce wax figure Thursday (Sept. 19) and it looks identical to the 38-year-old superstar.

The statue depicts Bey raising a black power fist during her historic Coachella performance, and celebrates the Houston native as a member of music royalty. In keeping with the royal theme, Bey's wax figure was placed alongside British royals including Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Queen Elizabeth for one day, before moving to the music section of the museum beginning Sept. 20.

“Beyoncé is a living legend, rightly crowned Queen Bey by her legions of fans and industry insiders. If anyone is fitting of a claim to The Queen’s spot in our attraction for the very first time, it’s Beyoncé,” Steve Davies, General Manager at Madame Tussauds London said in a statement. “HRH Queen Elizabeth II is famous for her mischievous sense of humour and we think a wry smile will cross her face when she sees that music royalty has temporarily filled her shoes. In the words of Beyoncé herself, Her Majesty is most definitely ‘irreplaceable’ so Queen Bey will take her spot for one day only before her figure moves to own our music stage.”

The intricate design nails every little detail, from Bey’s perfectly shaped eyebrows and minimalist makeup to her metallic fringe boots, jeans shorts and yellow sweatshirt.

Madame Tussaud’s latest Bey-inspired wax work has been getting rave reviews from the Bey Hive and Beyonce’s mother, Tina Lawson.

“They got this one right!!! I Love this wax statue of Beyonce’ ! It’s right on the button, even the legs,” Lawson wrote on Instagram.
