Be mindful of what you consume during your study session. Instead of ordering a pizza, eating chips, cookies, and candy, which contain high amounts of fat and unhealthy refined sugar, snack on fruits filled with natural sugars, nuts, cheese sticks or low-fat yogurt. Not only will those types of food give you energy, but your body will thank you in the morning. Pizza, pasta, and other entrée-type foods aren’t meant to be consumed at a late hour. Avoid alcohol, energy drinks, energy pills, and make sure to drink plenty of water. If motivated, blend the fruit and yogurt with oatmeal, ice and milk to create a nutrient-filled smoothie!
