5 Lessons The Kardashians Can Teach Us
President Obama doesn’t like the Kardashians. No that’s not another classic Kanye West rant, that statement actually comes from the President himself. In a recent interview FLOTUS Michelle Obama revealed that her hubby doesn’t allow daughters Sasha, 10 and Malia, 13, to watch the hit reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The most powerful couple in the world feels that some of the show’s content goes against how they’re raising their girls so the show has become off limits in the White House. But are the Kardashians really all that bad? We don’t think so and to prove it we’ve come up with five lessons everyone could learn from the Kardashians.
Focus And Get Your Money Right
Say what you want about these reality show divas, but when it comes to making money and building an empire, the Kardashians are definitely near the top of the pack. With momager Kris at the helm (Am I the only one thinking she needs to teach a course?!), Kim, Khloe and Kourtney have their hands in everything from a chain of clothing stores and a line in Sears, to perfumes, endorsement deals and individual spin offs of their hit show. They may appear to be living the easy life, but clearly these girls are focused and working hard! Their name is an incorporated brand and that doesn’t come from slacking on your pimpin. If any of us hope to live life in the fab lane ala the Kardashians, we need to be focused and ready when opportunity comes knocking.
Honesty Is The Best Policy
When it comes to expressing themselves the Kardashians definitely don’t hold their tongues! Even when they know the truth is going to hurt, they hold no punches and always tell it like it is. Does it cause some heated arguments, sure, but in the end telling the truth is always the best option. Many of us could stand to adopt the Kardashian ‘straight, no chaser’ mentality. Just think of how many issues we could avoid if we didn’t sugarcoat life.
When most of us think of ‘The Kardashians’ we tend to lump them all together, but one thing you can learn from the Kardashian family is that it’s ok to be yourself. Sure Kim, Khloe and Kourtney are a brand by association, but they each clearly have their own styles, personalities and lives. They aren’t afraid to branch off from the brand and from one another to do and live the life that’s best for them. So many young people, and even adults, try so hard to fit in and be like everyone else, but the lesson to learn is that being unique isn’t a bad thing. There’s only one fab you, so show it off to the world!
Always Look Your Best
Whether it’s a trip to the mall, a business lunch, or just lounging around the house, the Kardashian sister always look fabulous! Very rarely, if ever, do you catch them not on their best game when they’re out and about. These ladies know that all eyes are on them and they never know who’s watching so they make sure to put their best foot forward at all times. Most of us don’t have a gang of paparazzi following us at all times, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t always be on point. You never know when an opportunity may come your way and you don’t want to get caught looking like you just rolled out of bed.
They fight, they yell and swear to never speak to each other again, but I guarantee you if you tried to mess with one, you’d have the entire Kardashian clan hunting you down Warrior style. No matter what issue comes their way, they never let it make them forget that the most important thing they have in life at the end of the day is each other. No matter what we may think of them, they one thing that is undeniable is that this family truly loves each other and even if we can’t relate to anything else in their lives, the close bond they share with one another is one that we can learn from and carry over int
