The television laughs were so abundant before the late 1990s. Black sitcoms had us in stitches year-round, but specifically on the silliest/scariest holiday of the year--Halloween. Comedians like Martin Lawrence and Will Smith upped their usual tricks and let loose on their cast mates to bring October's end to life.
