What Our Favorite Vixens Should Be For Halloween!
Halloween is a night of tricks, treating and taking on any character that suits you. Lucky for them, our favorite Vixens get to indulge in these common acts year round. But this holiday season, we're serving up costume suggestions that'll have these ladies ready for the hottest Halloween parties in any and every city. First up...
Rihanna - Pink Lady
We all dub RiRi as the good girl who went bad, so for October's end, we'd like to see this rude gyal as a shiny pink jacket-wearing, 1950s Pink Lady. From the iconic film Grease, the pop star can take notes specifically from Sandy and her female companions. Slipping into tight black leggings and stepping into peep-toe pumps (while strutting with her besties), she'll allow her inner bad girl to simmer while showing off her badass physique. Very fitting. [Extra: The word "c*nt" should be embroidered on the jacket for personalized purposes!]
Tika Sumpter - The Baseball Player
Athletic and full of spunk, Tika should take on a sexy sports costume this year. Donning a three-quarter sleeved striped baseball shirt, knee socks and clutching a (Yankees) bat, our October cover Vixen can pull off the look effortlessly. Usually the fashionista of prim and proper boho chic, Tik would turn heads in this unpredictable number.
Beyoncé - Juno or Pumpkin Belly
Do you remember that belly in Croatia? Well, Bey should capitalize on the royal bump and dress as pop culture's fave preggo girl, Juno. Should she take any offense to our suggestion, there's always the über adorable idea to paint the belly. We don't quite know what baby Jayoncé wants yet, but his or her pre-birth Halloween costume should definitely be a pumpkin. The go-to Halloween symbol is simple and safe! Something the King and Queen shouldn't oppose.
Nicki Minaj - 1950s Homemaker
Well, Nicki already took on Lil Wayne, so we're opting to see this walking animation as a clean-cut 1950s homemaker. We already know she can pull off the zany swag, but can she calm it down? Can she be a catering, apron-wearing mother and wife? Ha! She won't have to act out any scenes on Halloween, but this costume (and role) may be something the Nick Star can hilariously take on.
La La Anthony - NYPD Officer
La La has not only become the NBA's spotlight wife, but NYC's new darling. We're sure the city would love to see La La in a NYPD uniform (no gun needed) showing love to her hometown. Carmelo Anthony's main lady has already turned up her crime-fighting skills for VIBE's Thelma and Louise, so dressing up as one of the "boys in blue" should be a piece of cake.
Angela Simmons - Sexy Vampire
She likes vampy lips, but she needs to take it one step further and transform into a night crawling vampire. Sexy, right? As long as she minimizes the ghoulish factor and turns up the glam, the fashion designer will make this classic scary 'fit to a couture level. In a sexy, yet ragged dress and some sky-high pumps, she'll have more fans than True Blood.
Draya Michele - Poison Ivy
Not afraid to play the bad girl role, Miss Michele should definitely delve in a costume of a vintage villain. Because the NBA wives (and wifeys) clutch their men when she's around, the young Vixen should take on Poison Ivy, a comic book siren that seduces Batman through sex appeal. Sound familiar? Although this may not be the real Draya, Halloween is a night where she can be whoever she wants to be... Or whoever others think she is.
Kim Kardashian - Pin-Up Girl
Vintage glam is Kim's thing. Playing a pin-up girl for the fun holiday can be a piece a cake for businesswoman. Taking notes from Hollywood starlets of the 1940s, such as Lena Horne and Judy Garland, Kim K will have a ball while feeling sexy, confident and most importantly, making her hubby take a second look.
