The Black Eyed Peas Perform Final Show Before Hiatus
The Black Eyed Peas have announced an indefinite hiatus. The group performed their final show on Wednesday night at Miami's Sun Life Stadium. BEP plans to take a break to work on personal projects.
Their finale show included and all-star lineup of features from T-Pain, Sean Kingston, Cee Lo Green, Jason DeRulo, and Queen Latifah.
The group made the major announcement on Wednesday morning at their appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." Will.i.am explained that their breaks take pressure off the challenges of remaining together as a group.
Apl.de.ap told Reuters on Monday, "We're going to take a little vacation and focus on our personal things." His next endeavor will be serving as an ambassador for education in the Philippines.
Meanwhile will.i.am debuted his latest single, "T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever) at the American Music Awards which will be on his album next year #willpower.
Back in July, Will went to Twitter clearing up rumors that the group would be breaking up for good stating that "It doesn't mean we stop creating." --Natelege Whaley
