Drake Announces Joint Mixtape with Rick Ross in the Works

There’s been talks of a number of joint hip-hop collaborations to come in the near future, but none of them look more promising than Drake and Rick Ross’ collaborative mixtape. In a recent chat with XXL, Drake revealed the title of the mixtape and spoke on working with Rick Ross to get it done:

“I have been working on a mixtape with Ross,” Drake said. “A mixtape called Y.O.L.O. [That means] ‘You Only Live Once’. I’ve been working on that for the last couple of weeks. We haven’t really connected because he’s been going through this thing with his health. I’ve been stashing my little beats and verses.”

Drake also said his album with Lil’ Wayne has been shelved indefinitely. Currently, there is no set date for Y.O.L.O.’s  release.

In related news, Drake faced the one obstacle that’s both unavoidable and destined for rappers: the album leak. While, Drizzy was in his hometown of Toronto debuting his Take Care collaboration with The Weeknd, the album subsequently found its way to the Internet.
