iPhone 4 Explodes On Board Airplane in Australia
Here's a new one to our ears. Apparently, a new iPhone 4 exploded during a flight to Sydney Australia.
According to reports on Nov. 25, a passenger on the Australian flight, traveling between the city of Lismore and the city ofrealized his had exploded, and was emitting clouds of "dense smoke."
No one was injured and the iPhone was quickly brought under control by a flight attendant.The airline released this statement.
"Regional Express flight ZL319 operating from Lismore to Sydney today had an occurrence after landing, when a passenger’s mobile phone started emitting a significant amount of dense smoke, accompanied by a red glow. In accordance with company standard safety procedures, the flight attendant carried out recovery actions immediately and the red glow was extinguished successfully. All passengers and crew on board were unharmed."
