Wish List: 4 Things We Hope To See On "Love & Hip Hop 2"
We've seen the trailer, we've peeped the official promo pics and now we wait. On November 14 at 9PM, the Twitterverse will be abuzz over the VH1 series premiere but there are already preconceived notions of what this second season will be. Whatever the outcome, here's VV's wish list of the four things we want to see and hope the women can accomplish.
Chrissy proposed to the man and still hasn't walked down the aisle. Doesn't that seem a bit strange? Let it go! You (and Tiny) may be the epitome of "ride or die," but at a certain point you have to be solely focused on your heart health. As a woman who's been there for this man through everything, either he is or isn't going to make the ultimate move... And he hasn't. Period. Is there hope for these two? It doesn't really seem like it.
We have the softest spot for stylist Emily B. It was painful to see her relationship to Fab be exposed to bluntly on the show last season, but this time around, she's chucking the deuces. Will it be tough? Sure. However, we're wishing (and secretly, you are too!) that Fabolous swoops in and puts the ring on it. Contrary to Chrissy's situation, Emily had the courage to bounce, and that deserves respect at the highest. And, truthfully, some men just need to know what they're missing, so can Fab get a rude awakening? The only thing that gives us pause: Is a cheater always a cheater?
This may be the realest peek into the struggles of up-and-comers in the game. In Olivia's case, she was hot, then she wasn't. Her "December" record created a nice buzz, then that was gone, too. Okay... someone please give her break. The girl can sing! Hopefully we see the record label heavens open for Maino's girl and we get a hit by the end of the season. As for Somaya, she's not the most talented artist, but she grinds. Who else you know can sleep in an attic, get ripped about by a pack of wolves and still hold her own? Yeah... Someone ink her a deal.
Where did Erica Mena come from? Seriously. In the trailer, this
hoe young lady pops off to Kimbella about her baby's father, Juelz Santana. Yeah, that's the messy behavior that's checked and handled on sight. Since Yandy is Kimbella's right hand, it's only right that both women step in and get the job done. Now, we're not saying Kimbella and Yandy should knock off Erica mafia-style, but a chick that opens her mouth sideways should be silenced.
