C-Murder’s Appeal Denied Once Again

New Orleans rapper C-Murder took a loss earlier this week after the rapper appeared in court and was denied another appeal.

C-Murder claims he was denied a fair trial due to the the judge allowing prosecutors to share “prejudicial and unsubstantiated” testimony with the jurors. He also claimed prosecutors “systematically eliminated black people from the jury” and that the judge should have declared a mistrial when the jury indicated at one point that they could not reach a verdict.

He was convicted of second degree murder for a 2002 club shooting and sentenced to life in prison without parole.
