Which leads us to our next point. Hate to break it to you, but “being more healthy” is not an adequate resolution. You may ask, “But what’s wrong with wanting to be more healthy?” Nothing at all. The real issue lies within the lack of specification of the steps being taken towards achieving your goal. Why do you want to be more healthy, how can you do it and what’s going to help you get to where you want to be? The more specifically you define your goals (maybe you want to consume less fat and thus will opt to eliminate one trip to your favorite fast food restaurant per week), the more realistic they will become.
