Sephora Gets A High-Fashion Makeover

Sephora, beauty mecca here on Earth, is getting a bit of an upgrade. Well, the uniforms that the employee’s wear are getting an upgrade. No longer will Sephora employee’s wear black shirts and pants but fitted pantsuits with red detailing or black shift dresses with red trim courtesy of designer Prabal Gurung.

Something, that Gurung felt would reflect “the style and playfulness of shopping in a Sephora store, but make sure they would be functional in such a fast-paced environment,” he told WWD. “The dress incorporates one of my favorite design elements, offering a flash of vibrant red, while the women’s pant suit and the separates for men give a sleeker, more tailored look.”

You can get a look at the snazzy new uniforms in North American stores staring in April 2012.
