Diddy Hints at Cable Network in the Works
Music mogul extraordinaire Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs is not yet denying or confirming that he will be launching his own music-inspired cable channel.
MTV’s “RapFix Live” host Sway Calloway caught up with Diddy in Miami while on the video set of his newest Bad Boy signee French Montana’s “Shot Caller” remix video—there he expressed the information was leaked.
“I haven’t made that announcement yet. That’s something that kinda leaked to the press,” Diddy told the host of Shade 45’s “Sway in the Morning Show.”
According to MTV.com, Broadcasting & Cable originally broke the news in January. Though Diddy could not confirm any information it was reported that he partnered with former MTV programming chief Andy Schuon to create the cable network Revolt, “a network aimed at African-American audiences, set to launch in December,” MTV.com said.
The Bad Boy CEO wouldn’t confirm any information, but he did express to Sway news will be coming soon. “When I have everything officially solidified, I’ll be able to speak on it more," said Diddy. "Only thing I can say is, we’re coming with a new energy.” --Johnathan Cruse
